Browse Through this Happy Little Database of Bob Ross Paintings

You can now search for your favorite Bob Ross painting on this unofficial database.

Created by an Austrian developer, Felix Auer, the database features 403 paintings from each episode of “The Joy of Painting” series. Each entry lists the paint colors used along with a link to the episode on YouTube.

The site, Two Inch Brush, is named after the most commonly used brush by Ross on the show. Aspiring painters will also find information on the tools and paints that Ross used with links to purchase the products.

Artists are encouraged to send in their fanmade Bob Ross paintings which are shared on the website and Twitter. Blog posts offer tips on how to improve upon painting techniques, favorite Bob Ross quotes, and you can even “BobRossify” yourself by tweeting them your photo.

Known for his soothing voice, Ross has remained popular in culture and amongst fans. In 2012, Google dedicated a Google Doodle to Ross on what would be his 70th birthday. Netflix is currently streaming his shows “Beauty is Everywhere” and “Chill With Bob Ross.” Last year, artist Nicole Bonneau started to paint all 403 paintings from “The Joy of Painting.” She is documenting her experience on her site Almighty Painting.
